A memorial scholarship is a wonderful way to recognize Amy’s many years of service to the District and her tireless pursuit of supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of the students that she so loved.

Home Access Center

Parents and Students (mensaje en español),

AUSD is pleased to offer two complementary web-based services to enhance communication between home and school. Information about both may be found on the school and District webpage . SchoolLoop provides webpages to teachers that make available current information from the classroom including course syllabus, handouts and classroom activities. Self-registry for SchoolLoop is available on the school homepage. Home Access Center(HAC), which is separate and part of the Student Information System, allows parents and students to view schedules, attendance, assignments, report cards and other data related to school records. Currently this service is available to middle and high school only. Elementary will be available soon. You may have received user name and password information at registration time for the Home Access Center. If not, please contact your child’s school for assistance. We look forward to working together as a team to advance student achievement. Thank you.

Message from Vice Principal Carol Lowart

Dear Students and Parents,

It is hard to believe how quickly the 2012-13 school year is going.  The first quarter has ended and the second quarter is underway.  Enclosed is your student’s report card for 1st quarter.  If your student was enrolled for the entire quarter and passed all of their classes they should have earned 20 credits.  If you have questions regarding report cards or courses for the 2nd quarter please contact me at (925) 776-5565.

Ms. Warren, our academic counselor, has been actively working with all students signing them up for classes at Los Medanos College (LMC) and or Night School to aid in acquiring the credits they need to graduate.  If your student is interested in taking Night School classes, have them sign-up to meet with Ms. Warren.

Attendance plays a major role in grades and credits earned at Bidwell.  I can’t stress enough the importance of being on time to school.  Teachers care if their students are tardy.  As will the people your child will deal with later in life, such as employers.  Every productive minute counts in earning the credits students need to graduate.  Please make sure your student is on time to school.

We continue to ask for your support in making Bidwell a school that is positive and focused on learning!

Carol Lowart

S.H.A.R.E.S. Program

Bidwell is a member of the S.H.A.R.E.S. PROGRAM. New cards are on order and should arrive here shortly BUT please use your old card if you have one. By using this card when you are grocery shopping at Lucky’s, Save Mart, Food Maxx or SMART Foods, the stores will contribute funds to support our student activities and graduation.

This is an easy fund raiser as it costs you nothing. Bidwell High School receives 3% of what you spend at these stores. Please help support Bidwell.

We are a WASC school

Bidwell High School has received a 6 year accreditation from the Western Accreditation of Schools and Colleges. This is the highest number of years allowed.
